Reality Check
In which I realize that the "Friends" theme song accurately describes my life:
Your job's a joke (check)
You're broke (check)
Your love life's DOA (check)
It's like you're always stuck in second gear (check)
When it hasn't been your day (check), your month (check), or even your year (double-check)
But they make it sound so goddam ... peppy.
Your job's a joke (check)
You're broke (check)
Your love life's DOA (check)
It's like you're always stuck in second gear (check)
When it hasn't been your day (check), your month (check), or even your year (double-check)
But they make it sound so goddam ... peppy.

But I'll be there for you.
When the rain starts to pour
I'll be there for you
Like I've been there before
I'll be there for you
'cause you're there for me too.
Love always,
Kasia :)
whenever I hear that song I think: one snappy tune and you can retire for life! I mean, can you imagine the residuals that otherwise unkown group must get? Clearl;y they aren't broke, their life's not a joke, etc. So I guess the moral is, write a song about how life sucks and you'll be laughing to the bank.
